A diss to Britney
Britney Spears had her big hit "Hit me Baby One More Time" when I was a Freshmen in High School. So, yeah, I liked the song. The years went by and secretly I liked the songs Britney was still coming out with. Of course I told no one. Sadly I still like her songs. What can I say, I like to dance and she puts down the beats.
Okay, not really. I was on danceline in High School and we had to dance to her songs. I've never liked her. That is why I am proud to say, yes, the All-American Rejects for once get kudos from me. I especially liked the accoutrement of beer bottles as percussion. Well done AAR. This will be the first and only time I will give you two thumbs up.

Okay, it took me a moment to realize your Britney-banter was a joke. HA!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could be a music critic "when you grow up...."? I will continue to offer suggestions until we get this just right. HA! (again.)

Hey Erin... I agree with you!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great semester!
Oh by the way... the pig is definitely not a pot belly pig. It is a pig. One that will grow to have more than just a pot belly. And I like you thought it would be an outside pet, but my husband informed me it was too cold outside for it. It has been sleeping in the bathroom :) haha :)

ReplyDeleteI have to honestly admit that I did like her first songs...no kidding lol...but I can't stand her music now. I also liked NSYNC and Backstreet Boys when I did like her music, so obviously I had no musical taste haha. I don't think you give the All American Rejects enough credit, though. They've had some pretty decent songs along the way. That video is really funny, though! Thanks for sharing it with us!

The pig sleeps in the bathroom?
ReplyDeleteI'm not too OCD, but that's funny. And I don't listen to Britney or the AAR. I think they are on my iPod, but only because my brother put them there.
