I came across an article on Yahoo.com today. There are 8 colleges in the U.S. that offer students a free, four-year college education. Granted a lot of then require that you work some hours on campus. Hey, I'm all for that. There is even a law school in California, UC Irvine School of Law. Here's a picture of the school.

There's a quaint school in Deep Springs, California. But it's two-year and only males are allowed to attend. So who wants to go? If my parents weren't helping pay for school, I'd be packing my bags now.
So, here's the website in case anyone is interested. http://blogs.static.mentalfloss.com/blogs/archives/22573.html
That's funny, my old friend from high school is married to a guy who is a professor at a college in Irvine...I wonder if it is this one! The older I get, the less surprised I am by ludicracy. It seems if you can think it up, someone has done it. Thank your parents for helping you pay for college, when you get to be my age, you wish you would have made different choices while growing up, but all you can do is tell someone..."thank your parents for helping you pay for college"...:)
ReplyDeleteThat is really neat. I wish I would have know about this when I graduated. I am going to pass this along to my old high school counselor to show the high school kids! Thanks
ReplyDeleteWow.. A free education that only require you to do work at a school like that? Sounds like a good deal too me too. I'm already working at the school. But what I dont get is that.. How can a School like that afford such a view?
ReplyDeleteHey buddy!
ReplyDeleteNope. =P But I did used to go to
